Owned by Peigu Zhao and started in 2019, Samekawaii is a Business/Design Company that sells handmade dolls, crafts and kawaii goodness as well as creates graphics and illustrations for clients.
Monster High, Ever After High and doll collecting has always been an interest and passion of mine. Now that they are out of stores, I enjoy making my own interpretations of the dolls as a student of Graphic Design. I also enjoy many other forms of art and have always loved to do creative things one way or the other.

Doll making process
I always use high-quality, art-grade materials. My go-to supplies are Faber Castell watercolours, Inscribe soft pastels and Daler Rowney acrylics. My go-to sealant is always MCS. I enjoy using many different materials and fabrics for each doll.
Every single one is made with love, thought and is uniquely its own one-off design.
Repaints, wigs, reroots and more. Each doll is collectable and intended for display only. All items come from a smoke-free household. I own tropical fish and a pet budgie but otherwise pet-free.
Design Process
I utilise the Adobe Suite to create graphics such as logos, product design and other illustrations.
I primarily work with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign but I'm capable of working with many different media. I happily work and communicate with clients to create their desired product.
All designs are made with care and attention to detail. I'm willing to go through many iterations to produce a satisfying product.
